Have you ever wanted to build your own sculpture in clay? Or carve a ceramic tile? Create a glazed bird-house or unique candle-holder? This six week studio course will introduce you to hand-building with water-based clay. What you create is limited only by your imagination and the boundaries of the medium. Learn how to work with this wonderful material, glaze your pieces, and bring them home.
The course is taught by sculptor Gregory Fields at his studio in the Northwest Crossing neighborhood of Bend’s west side. With the small class size (maximum of six students) you will get lots of focused instruction.
